Born on February 9th, 1943

Departed on July 24th, 2020

Virginia “Ginger” Lee Schreiber (Conrad) passed away at the Shalom Park Nursing Home on July 24, 2020. Born February 9, 1943 to Gracie Mae and Lee Conrad in North Carolina. She was the oldest of seven children: Barbara, Brenda, David, Bonnie, Vera and Vaughn (passed).

Ginger married Christopher Paul Phillips in 1966. They had two daughters – Robin LeAnn Phillips (Keach) and Jennifer Christine Phillips (Robinson).

Ginger married Dennis Lynn Schreiber in December of 1977. Dennis passed away in 2011. They were married for 34 years.

Ginger is survived by her daughters Robin and Jennifer, as well as, grandchildren Sean, Samantha, Leland and Jack. Preceded in death by parents Gracie and Lee; husband Dennis; brother Vaughn and granddaughter Makenna.

Ginger loved her dogs – they were her fur babies – Valentina, Leo and Mandy. They all found good homes when she moved into Shalom Park. While at Shalom Park, she was able to visit Valentina almost daily which made her incredibly happy.

She lived in North Carolina, Arkansas, Kansas, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas and Colorado. She took modeling classes and was a small business owner. Her hobbies included reading, making jewelry for the family girls, and yearned to “write a book someday.” She also loved music and dancing.

A small family service was held at daughter Robin’s home in Aurora, CO.

Beautifully written my friend. Your mom was truly a wonderful free spirit woman who saw now boundaries in color, religion, gender. I remember her love, kindness and generosity towards me, allowing me over to hang out, swim and braid your hair. Lol
Robin, my sincere condolences friend.. Jesus has placed here in comfort and peace.
Give my love to Jennifer and your family pl
