Grandpa, our time on Earth is so limited.  You showed how to not worry about the stresses in this life.  Your wit and steadfast attitude is a great example I want to pass down to my children.  You are truly missed down here.

He was forever a gentleman! He was so loving and caring! Last visit he took such great of my mama and I. He made us breakfast every morning. He took special care with our hot cereal making sure we had fresh fruit in it. He made us toast and bacon and a fresh pot of coffee each morning.

He took me to Mother Cabrini the time before that. I was 200 pounds heavier but had always wanted to go. He watched me ascending the stairs and about half way up here comes Uncle Flavio with a cold bottle of water. He wanted to make sure I was hydrated. Then he walked up the rest of the way with me. I was so touched by that.

His pup is going to miss him. I loved how he took him for a walk. He carried him to the park then would set him down on the grass, pick up his mess and carry him back. Later one evening he got on his hands and knees to play with him.

I love my Uncle Flavio. He will be forever in my heart. Be with angle Tio!

Tia Eva and Primos,
I am so sorry for the loss of such a gentle, kind man.
Every time he visited us we spoke the entire time in spanish. He would tell us how proud he was of us, for helping our mom in the kitchen, make homemade tortillas, bread and biscochitos. He enjoyed speaking to us in spanish. My Tio Flavio is reunited with Sammy, his parents and siblings at peace, no pain no worries. Estimado Tio Flavio, descanse en paz, hasta que nos vemos otra vez. Con amor y respeto su sobrina, Carla
