Lois, many memories of the both of you together. Piano lessons in the basement in the late afternoon – an embarrased 12 year old when your husband would come for your welcome home kiss. Reflecting back, now I see the tenderness, gentleness and compassion you showed each other. His believe in you – making you great – your rise from the (your quote) “wall flower” to a teacher of fine arts to hundreds, a cancer survivor – a strengthener of thousands on your tour of healing. Les was such a humble, gentle, steadfast sole. Manning the refreshment table after every recital. Together you honored your God and made greatness – touching the lives and hearts of many. May your memories and God’s strength continue to be with you as you journey on in God’s comfort…a legacy to honor your source of strength and companionship.
