Your loved one never leaves our care

Since cremation is an irreversible process, a reputable cremation service provider will have written policies and procedures to ensure that you or your loved one will be cared for properly and treated with dignity.

As a consumer, you have a right to request and receive a copy of the provider’s policy and procedure manual. In addition, a family member should be offered the opportunity to make a positive identification of the deceased before the cremation process begins.

Log books should be available that document past procedures and the provider’s adherence to policy.

Caregivers can count on us to provide the highest level of care and service.

Whether a death takes place in a hospice care center, hospital, or home you can count on our staff members always being neatly and respectfully attired. We always introduce ourselves to family and/or friends if they are present, and we assess the readiness of those present for the transfer into our care to begin. This moment is never rushed.

If family members or friends are present, we ask if they want to remain present or leave the room as we transfer their loved one. Once we reach the front door of the home, hospice care center or other facility, it is important that we stop and offer those present as much time as they need to say another goodbye. This is not a time to rush. As far as we are concerned, this transition is an important responsibility.

We understand that the time of transition from your care into our care is a very sensitive time.

  • When you call Cremation Society of Colorado on behalf of a family you will:
  • Get a prompt and professional response on the phone
  • Expect our staff to arrive in a timely manner
  • Know your family is receiving fair pricing with no hidden fees or pressure tactics
